Carpentry
We want to contribute to the green transition, which is why we have created a greener profile for our carpentry course. Our green Carpenter course focuses on sustainable construction, where you learn to use environmentally friendly materials and apply energy‑efficient building methods.
You gain practical skills in working with wood and other building materials in both new construction and renovation projects, including building structures, installing doors and windows, and using tools and machinery—preparing you for a modern, sustainability‑focused building industry.
Concrete Construction
Concrete Construction offers vocational educations and training opportunities schemes within the areas building construction and foundation. The department is a national centre of excellence working with a wide range of subjects within the area.
We always combine the technical side of the trade with the academic side in order to give our students the best competences. We believe that this combination together with new technology and traditional craftsmanship enables our student to face the future challenges. Furthermore we aim to give our students an international perspective as we work with Leonardo da Vinci projects sending our students abroad to learn more about their trade.
Data/ICT
Do you want to become an IT architect who builds networks, data and storage systems? Are you a natural problem solver with an interest in both hardware and software? Or maybe you dream of developing the next Snapchat?
We offer three specialisations within Data and IT. As an IT Supporter, you will learn how to help users with technical issues, install and maintain systems, and ensure that IT runs smoothly in organisations. As a Data Technician specialising in Infrastructure, you will work with networks, servers, and IT systems, learning how to build, manage, and secure IT solutions. If you choose Data Technician specialising in Programming, you will focus on developing software and applications, working with coding and digital solutions.
Electrician
The electrician course teaches you how to work with electricity in a safe and professional way. you will learn how to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in buildings and industry.
A big part of the course is working with power and controlling lighting installations. This includes setting up electrical wiring, switches, and modern lighting systems, as well as making sure everything works efficiently and safely.
you also gain experience with industrial technology. This includes working with industrial robots, where they learn basic programming and how to keep machines running. In addition, you work with process systems and alarm installations, such as monitoring systems, safety alarms, and automated controls used in factories and buildings.
Electronics Technician
Would you like to work with the development of new electronic equipment, and do you have a talent for mathematics and programming?
As an Electronics Technician, you work with electronics used for measurement, control, regulation, and monitoring – for example communication equipment, surveillance systems, and medical instruments for hospitals.
During the course, you will gain hands-on experience with circuits, components, programming, and automation. You will develop your problem-solving skills and learn how to work both independently and in teams, preparing you for real-world technical challenges.
Floor Layer
In this course, you learn to work with many different types of flooring, including linoleum, vinyl for wet rooms, carpets, laminate, and wooden floors. You gain knowledge of material properties, subfloors, construction, and correct installation techniques to ensure durable and high‑quality results.
The training gives you experience in adapting solutions to different needs and rooms and prepares you to work in various types of buildings such as private homes, offices, schools, and institutions.
Gastronomy
If you are passionate about food the catering department is the right place for you. We offer a wide range of vocational educations such as nutritionist, chef, waiter, butcher and baker. These basic courses give you the best starting point for you further nutritional education.
The catering business is an area where you can meet all sorts of interesting people and use your creative and innovative skills.
